Meet the Team

We are a small but close-knit working family that strives for excellence and exceptional customer service in all we do. We focus mainly on Community Schemes and residential and commercial property management. Property sales are a small but an important part of the solutions we offer.

The Grahamstown office consists of 8 people who are all involved in property management, managing rentals and community schemes and doing residential, commercial and business sales on demand.

STEPHEN BIRT

Principal
I have been married to my wife Mary for 47 years and we have 4 children and 7 of the best grandchildren in the world. I am a Lay-Minister and Church Warden at Christ Church, Grahamstown. I play golf for leisure and am a member of the Grahamstown Wine Tasting Circle.

I am a born and bred Grahamstownian! I am a mother to a 3 – year old girl. I am a fun person and love meeting new people. I joined Grahamstown Properties in 2016 and have been working with body corporates since.

I have worked in Property Management since 1999. I have learned so much in my years in the business, and am always open to learning more. I feel my 21 years of experience has assisted me in both my work life and personal life. It has taught me many life skills. My strengths are my knowledge based skills, hardworking nature, honesty, dedication, loyalty, patience, tolerance and forgiving nature.

I have genuinely developed a passion for my job and try to the best of my abilities to complete each task with as much energy and attention it requires. Over the years I have developed my computer skills and enjoy spending time on different software programmes, developing adverts, brochures for the office. I completed my ICDL (International Computers Driving Licence) during high school and I think that was the driving force behind my love for computer work.
